    No idea how this will work from Jan 1 onwards. Now, what you suggest is under EU law forbidden. ( he didn’t quite get the idea and left the original invoice on the packaging,) Sometimes less expensive, sometimes not. Warranty is problem.

    Bit lost here as why there is a problem.. However, there is a number of routes to go - combined alternator / steeringpump units, electric pumps, etc. Wallet content, legal restrictions and creativity basically decide what route to take

    Not the best of weekends obviously.. No people harmed is most important though.

    Yes - you need to worry a bit about oil etc. Once vehicle is back on it's wheel, check all fluids and see if you can turn the engine "by hand" just to make sure.... What caused the roll if I may ask ?

    I seem to remember reading somebody who'd done just that. Involved cutting both front & rear using the wheearch as the reference point Not easy - but should be doable. Interesting project

    LT77 = Reverse left of 1st gear R380 = Reverse on the right opposite 5th gear What engine ?

    Continent goes this way, UK can decide where they want to go. I'm not getting into the whole Brexit thing. Totally not interesting - just work Not better, not worse. Just a different way.

    Don't see why not - UK sees to be heading for total "non EU compliance" So, if UK thinks it's good for UK......

    Within 5 months, you're no longer ruled by the EU. So, UK can get all vehicles they want. Interesting to see how it goes. You'll make your own rules.

    Oh yes - EU legislation (so not sure for UK right now) allows those with B+E licence to drive some interesting combinations : Depending on age etc. one can go up to 10 tonnes train weight...

    I speak some limited Dutch..... What is it you'd like to know ?

    I have a US one on the 200 Tdi. and went to the breakers with a measurement lint and it covers the radiator completely. Ele. switch and relay to power it.
