As this forum has some very, very wise people, I hope you can help me. The use of these gas struts to keep the bonnet open is very interesting and something I'd consider to sort an issue the layout of the 110 engine bay and the bonnet support. Question 1 : does anybody has this in their Land Rover, can you please tell me more ? Question 2 : what struts would be needed ? Thank You !!

109 & 110 roofs are the same, dimension wise. However, the front windscreen frame differs - so the roofs are not a simple swop. As they mention the do not bolt through the roof, it is interesting to hear how they fit it... ...as would be a price. Bon Courage !

Interesting project... From personal experience, have you ever slept in the Dormobile "stretcher look-a-like" beds ? I did and didn't... I'm in the process of building a lift roof on the 110. Having a roll cage makes it a bit different. Bon Courage !
