  1. Have Fun ! Series are really nice to work on.
  2. The 110 had some brackets for the post side - nothing for the centre. So I made them myself sfater learning what they cost here.. Steel 4 mm strip, bolted to the chassis does the job nicely...
  3. What the man said... We usually say "what does it weigh".... eBay could be the way to go..
  4. Towing the ArgoCat (8x8) through France gave me many talks...
  5. TIC is a known supplier. I recently collected springs from this company - https://sandersonleafsprings.co.uk/category/leaf-springs/land-rover-series-2-3-springs/ - for a friend and they seem to know what they're talking about. He 's quit pleased with them. Have a talk with them.
  6. I am def. not qualified, def. not into keeping wiring original but have building looms for 30+ years. I do not use the stuff you mention, sorry. We build everything ourselves and a bit different from what most people do. There is not much about it, really, just follow the instructions. There are several very good electricians here - and please have a look around to see some very, very nice write ups on electrics.
  7. Being Dutch, living in France, working in over 27 countries I must speak several languages....
  8. Do you throw a champane botlle for the first outing against the IBEX ?
  9. Behind front right wheel - about 10-15 cm for the axles in the chassis main rails. If the VIN & logbook is missing, I 'd be very careful before parting with any money.
  10. We use the WIPAC white front lights as reverse lights on the Ninety - only because the Mrs. likes a bit "standard looking".. Whatever that is. The round LED work-/spotlights are very bright. Like others said - the high up rear work lights are very good for reversing in the dark..
  11. I ordered them from CN through the well known money pit.... Not the best - but do the job..
  12. Seems very good value !
  13. What the others said - over size bolts etc. I had a simular problem on a wheelcarrier and somebody back in Holland found me some bearings (ex Railway industry, better not ask..) and that solved the problem. Sold the vehicle many, many moons ago and it seems to be going strong. I really hope he never has to relpace them as they'll mbe more than serious money... The plactic washers / spacers / whatever can be found on Ebay - not sure about the quality. Better cut some from anything quality(ish) plastic like cans etc.
  14. No idea it was on.... UK LR magazines are hard to get here - and subscriptions are insanely expensive.. and, TBH, I find them basically a platform for adds.. However, all the best to the lucky person to have won the vehicle. May it be used what it was build for...
  15. Interesting... What sort of payload do you expect to have once you're finished ?
  16. Thanks Daan. I very much will try to do so. The FUKR is planned for November / December and you are sort of on the way...
