keithjh
Hi All, Reliably informed today that Billing as we know it is no more, due to the owner of the aquadrome wanting a extra £100,000 or so to stage the show. Its being moved apparently to a Stately Home near Northampton. Show will last from Wednesday to Sunday. No electric hook-ups. I can not say where this info came from, but i would rate it as 100%, the person is in the "Trade shall i say". Regards Keith
GBMUD
Other people are just as keen that it will be at Billing for the next two years. Chris

richard-dangerous
I know folks who are connected with the owners and they are saying that its still being negotiated so perhaps we will have to wait and see?
Les Henson
Well I can say with complete authority that it's in my back garden next year, so please send £50 per vehicle straight to me. Les.

najw
do we know which stately home it could be at? If it's at Althorp perhaps they could run the off-road course over 'that' island

Paul Humphreys
All I know is that I was told by someone last week, that they tried to book a place at billing and were told they could not book as they did not know if it was going to happen. scorpio
Rumour has it it may be here
madmatt
I might ring up later and try and book as they have a form in this months mag, see what they say. Althrope house could be a venue Ford used to use it for motor shows and it had an off road course at one time.
RocKeR
It's all rumour and third hand supposition, this thread. It's like being in the cafe on Coronation Street!
Top90
They have already released the dates for next year. How can they do that if it is not booked? How many 'Billing is dead' type threads have we had now then? There were a few before the show this year and it still went to plan.

scorpio
If you look at Octobers edition of LRE you will see that any mention of Billing for next year seems to have been removed, even the sheet with the address on only has this yrs dates on it unlike the last one that had 2007's as well. DEANO3528
It quite clearly states on their website that bookings for 2007 open on Sept 1. Let's see what tomorrow brings.
simonr
Through the post this morning: It is a lot cheaper - says £20 for visitors inc camping. I wonder if there is anything to stop another show springing up at Billing? Mr Llama? Si
