SPendrey
To me, they look like the XR4x4 logos on the old Sierras back in the late 80's? I like this one most of all... ...but with the brushed metal effect of this one... ...and of course, vertically centered.
Shackleton
Just saw this, here's a logo submission [and a favicon so the tab stands out a little from the other forums]:
geoffbeaumont
Yeah, whichever logo we go for we'll sort out a favicon based on it (and probably mobile icons too - though I think that'll need a template edit as for some reason it's not built into IPS). Thanks all of you for your submissions - keep them coming!
Mo Murphy
With all due respect to the other contributors but I like mud monkeys no. 2 🤔 er example no.2 😆 Mo
Anderzander
I like mud monkey's too - except for the .com being in the 4...... I think it's because it doesn't centre so well with the 4 sloping. Not sure what an alternative might be... Love the rest of it though - looks fresh and modern. zardos
Plagiarising parts of others The LR is leaning back because we are laid back (relaxed) here where as forward leaning represents speed
Mudmonkey
A variation on my first submission. I think the first logos would be difficult to produce into cut decals because of the intricate ".com". Also I prefer the lower case "x" in this second incarnation. Anderzander
What would it look like with the .com underneath the 4x4 bit? But so that it still sat on a single line ..
elbekko
Threw this together using some free logo generator thing on the internet. Realised after I'd made it I made the text the wrong colour... but you get the idea.

I rather like this one, the writing is quite "futuristic"

The LR4X4 is good but the .com thing needs tweeking IMHO something to do with the writing being perpendicular to the back side of the number 4 really doesn't sit right with me, just my humble opinion mind, you've made the effort to have a go which is much more than most
geoffbeaumont
As promised, chucked together a couple of variations based on different fonts (these are both essentially the same cleaned up version of Steve's logo that we're currently using) - I put the .com back in, as the consensus seems to be that we want to keep it. Nimbus Sans Novus Black Condensed: Magistral Condensed Bold: Of which I'm rather liking the second. Also wondering what that font would look like combined with one of mudmonkey's designs? And what one of these would look like in a square format:

SteveG
The spanner fits with the technical focused nature of the site, how about keeping it simple and just having the spanner and site, like this attached? Obviously it's needs doing properly, by someone who knows what they are doing. cheers, Steve
