Disappointed you haven't wittled these from a oak you felled before your morning brew. Just not good enough.

You will have to stay disappointed.........

Woodwork was never a strongpoint for me..... Regards Stephen

I'd like to say I bought it...............

but the truth is I forged it from a piece of comet I rode through earths atmosphere, then quenched it in the North sea to temper it, finishing it off crushed diamond shards.......

Is that actually wood or just  cleverly painted steel?

'scumbling' can be used to make wood effect steel, some vintage wagon restores use it on the inside of cab roofs.

Don't tell @FridgeFreezer you have that he gave up trying to find the correct angle and therefore a reamer.

Mike

Funny enough I've just been reading that

This reamer is for mog tie the rod ends, still tracking a 11 degree reamer for Landrover tie rod ends regards Stephen

Wouldn't a tapered end mill of 11 degrees do the job as well as a reamer?

It certainly would but only finding them on American sites at the moment

However I have a cunning plan, I can make a track arm out of heavy wall pipe that I can tap to landrover track rod thread at one end and unimog thread at the other end so m16 and m24

My whole thing was I didn't want to ream out the axle ends because then you've modified a casting that is hard to replace (and also likely hardened/heat treated because Sweden) - also LR rod ends are tiiiiny.
