total width is 76" and lightweight with coiled axles sits at 71" so 21/2" extra width to accommodate with mud guards, I'm really quite happy with that because it's not going to look stupid wide

Now to lift the rear axle back in for pneumatic cylinder fitting and A frame modifications

Very ,very nice indeed Stephen..     The rim's look factory to..  Great!

My goodness they look amazing.

Must be so satisfying craning those out - where not only have you hand fabricated so much of them - but where they look like a factory produced item.

Outstanding.

Thank you, you are too kind

However I must admit I had a right big smile on my face this morning

Honestly, they will never be as good as factory, but I'm happy with them and that's what counts at the moment, but it is very nice of you and others to say they have a factory finished look about them

 Regards Stephen

Really very, very nice, the stainless(?) cap heads really set them off very nicely. Perhaps when they are full of mud you may curse them, but perhaps they will be fine ;)

So tidy..... very nice work indeed.

Wait a minute....

You have a job as well as doing this?

Double all the impressiveness.

Yep sure do, need the job to fund my hobby and tool addiction

Although I plan to retire within a couple of years regards Stephen

Yes , retire so you can build axles full time... Can you do mine first? 😄

I can feel myself turning green with envy. If i had half your skills i would be a happy man.

Now i Just need to convince the wife mog axles are a sound investment.

The jerry can under the axle does indeed show perspective :) . Absolutely brilliant work Stephen and on the

home straight now . By the time the chicks have fledged you'll be ready to chuck 'em under

Just to add with built axles

Thought I'd made a massive mistake because wheels are canted outwards at the top but after consulting Google it would seem that mog axles are cambered ( phew)

Lightweight body is no where near as heavy so undecided as yet whether to leave them as they are or machine the camber out

What do you guys think, will it give me any issues ??

Regards Stephen

I think, off road it will be no problem at negative camber..  Hookin it round a round about will not be it's thing, just go straight over it😁

Search for “mog9 build” and there is a guy who’s machined a spacer to take that camber out

Personally I’d say it will help with steering off road your getting extra pressure on the outside of the wheel when turning out of ruts and changing direction on soft surfaces. Mogs are extremely good at this type of operation.

or just put some washers behind the wheel on the bottom two studs 🙈

Top of tyre out is positive camber. The boy racers with top in is negative camber.
