Jon White
Just noticed the April one has been postponed until 16th August - just in case anyone was making plans.

Well that's put a stop to pretty much all I had to look forward to. Balls.
Eightpot
Hmm. Pretty sure whatever bacteria has survived living on diesel and EP90 soaked rusty junk dragged out of ten years hibernation in nettles under a wet tarp could kick seven bells out of corona virus. More likely to get hurt by the hamburger wagon.
Bowie69
Well, gatherings over 1000 are about to be banned...... So :)
miketomcat
The whole thing is a joke. You can't hide from it, all that is going to happen is the economy is going to get screwed in the process. I'm just glad they haven't shut schools etc yet, because that is very short sighted. You can't work if your kids have to be home. Victorian era here we come! (Not sure if that's a bad thing though). FridgeFreezer
Well 7sisters is still on so you can all come to that instead as long as there's less than 1000 trucks we'll be golden

If we all get it today, we're screwed. If we all get it, but over the next year, then the NHS can cope with staff shortages, parents staying home to mind kids, etc. Distribution centres and supermarket stay trading, diesel keeps being refined. It's a good plan, by canny people.

Agreed, it is unique in the world though, so it has to be wrong according to all the armchair experts over in the Twitterverse.
miketomcat
I think you misunderstood me a little whilst I'm grumpy about Newbury and not sure it's entirely necessary. I hadn't heard the UK's response when I wrote it.The UK's stance seems to be the most sensible compared to other countries. Mike
Daan
There is around a 1000 people from all over Europe coming together, and they hand over cash money which is traditionally one of the worst carriers of germs; It sounds like the right decision to me. A shame, as I have a long list of bits I need.

Daan
Well it is on tomorrow: https://www.4x4sparesday.co.uk/ I wonder if it is worth going, given the fuel situation. Anyone on here going? Daan

Daan
I thought it would be, so I didn't go. Glad that was the right decision. I missed the last one as I was on holiday. 2 years without the sortout! Roll on the next one on the 27th of February. Daan
