The new fabbed air box bolts from the inside of the air box onto the outside 12 x bolts (threaded holes in the 3 x plenum

units, then the hole ensemble bolts to the trumpet base

Hence the bolted down lid, this way I can, if I need retighten / remove to do whatever in the future, its been a a**e of a job

what it came with what a bodgification that a Drunk Mr Bean would have been proud of ....truly horrendous...

Fiddly bits done and moved it closer..

Air Boxed "Glued and Bolted on via the 12 x internal M5 Bolts, "Gasket" made, this is out of a 3mm rubber ensemble I had - and used successfully prev

on the home made air filter conatiner at the end, and drilled it ready for mounting - a "Megasquirt" Lasrer edged badge, dtrilled taped screwed on

then welded over on the back on the seam

Headlamps and then indicator / side back in, but now converted to the later type, as mine were fubarred being rusty, full of mud - dead as dead,

holes had to be welded up then redrilled to the larger OD, these have a much better "Plug" and waterproofness :D the connections all done for horn,

washer, and other electrics all having been moved about into different positions in the engine bay..., top wing and side on passenger wing side back on,

and so on....

Happy with MK2 Air Box to the 3 x Plenum entries, worth the extar work,...lost the ali 19mm 300mm tube and also the spark wire spreader, need to go

a huntin' workshop is a pigsty.....they are both in safe places, .......so could be anywhere ......

All harness mods have been harness taped up and run just above injectors on drivers side, and fitted to alternator etc

The Oil Pressure switch on a 4.0 is Nightmare, mate had a 90 degree terminal conector, so neatly done, rubber mountings made for

Oil cooler fitting, and a shiopping list yet again has sprung forth....more money :(

But defo getting there, white board on the workshop wall now has a "To do to finish" list and its not that horrendous...getting there

Photos don't reflect amount done, but do show "Fiddly" stuff :( which takes ages

1x bottom hose still to do and run out of hose clips, oil pipes all tightened an located. Fuel hose too short as is vacumn hose ffs !
