What you are doing is as much fabrication in an afternoon as the average car nut would do in a dark garage over a number of years.

Got to get the most use out of garage time....

Outstanding.

Apologies if you have already mentioned it, are you doing any reinforcement work to the a-frame mountings or are they already made of oil rig?

I'm guessing the mog axles put most of their leverage into the A frame? or do the chassis mounts also take a hammering hence the 10mm?

A frame mounting points all ready oil rig.........

Only the mounting bolt area is 10mm, landrover standard is 2x3mm so I made mine bigger, the rest is 6mm and longer so it can be welded to more of the chassis regards Stephen

My wee bit of fabrication today. Went to go and fit the Southdown Guard and found an exhaust hanger rusted through so taking a leaf out of Stephen's book it's made from some 5mm plate because it saved me walking to my scrap pile 100 yards away.
