Landrovernuts Posted April 21, 2019 Share Posted April 21, 2019 I have just fitted one and have to say the clutch in now as light as my wife’s Audi ( it was bloody heavy before) The instructions say on 5 minutes to fit - took me an hour with lots of swearing, but well worth it. If you take the clutch pedal box out it's easy to do on the bench, but then you have to bleed the clutch, and there is more work overall. steve200TDi Posted October 13, 2019 Share Posted October 13, 2019 When I fitted the standard clutch spring of this variety, I put the spring in a vice to compress it and then added two cable ties each side to hold it. I then offered up into place and started cutting the cable ties until it popped into place. I haven't had experience with this new stronger spring though. Mo Murphy Posted October 15, 2019 Share Posted October 15, 2019 I have a LOF one to go on which I bought with the clutch but I'm too lazy to fit it 😆 It's pretty good already with the LOF clutch and the standard LR over centre spring. Mark Bartolo Posted February 14, 2020 Share Posted February 14, 2020 I had one installed 8 months ago. Made a big difference. Clutch pedal was lighter and easier on the leg.
