pugwash
how many land rover products (or other off road things) have you owned? (this excludes TJ101 and bogmonster- i'm not sure we have enough space for their answers) are we all brand snobs? even more are we model snobs? who's bought new ones, and how long have you had them? what started you off? My 4x4 history: Big red quad (no idea what it was but it was fun on the farm) Series 2a 88 (learnt to drive in it) Lamborghini Stage 1 V8 V early 90- my first upgraded landrover- i was young, naieve, and thougth BIG ORANGE adverts were a good thing Range rover Classic (86)- some bits might still be living with Paul W possibly- currently my avatar. Range Classic (88)- all gone to rust heaven Range rover classic (92) - still alive on paper but currently residing in vapourware heaven ummm lardcruiser 80 series 4.2tdi-it's lovely so, what have you had? Orgasmic Farmer
Well my 4x4 history includes Subaru 1.8 GLF hatch (truly great car that rusted in half!) Series 3 109 station wagen (drove to Alps and back then sold it) Stage 1 V8 station wagen (drove to Tunisia but had to leave it there when first Gulf war broke out) Zetor 7245 (traded in for my Quad) Subaru Impreza 1.8 (owned for 10 years now and still going strong.....can't fault it) Kawasaki Quad (be lost without it) Massey Ferguson 362 (good little tractor but weak front axle!) Sambron Jackall (just bought for moving silage bales to give the Fergie a rest) 2 Discovery 200 Tdis (one daily driver, the other now a traybacked challenge truck) The last 6 I still have! Also own a G wagen with a blown motor (bought that way)

geoffbeaumont
Nothing as impressive as most of the lists above: '93 Range Rover V8 - bought because I figured I'd run a big V8 for a bit while I still could. Didn't plan on having any more Land Rovers after it, but my parents gave me their 300Tdi Discovery with a knackered gearbox, so I fixed that and still have it. Doubt I'll have another as a daily driver - maybe if I can afford to run a toy.

honitonhobbit
Lots of stuff really. First 4x4 back when I was 14 was a Series 1 107 that ended up coiled 82" and V6ed - I was young! I have had S1's, 2's, 2a's, a 2b, S111's Lightweights, 90's, RRC's and a 100" as well as couple of hybrids - oh and a 1983 V8 LHD High Cap! Such a mix of engines in Diesel and Petrol as can be had. Also had a couple of Nissan 4x4's, three SJ's, three Auverlands, a Hi-lux, a Brava, a couple of Scooby 1.8 GL estates and a 1.8 Turbo, a quatro, some VW stuff, some Vauxhaull stuff and some other stuff... Oh and loads of bikes, the three best of which were an XL600LMF, a Super Blackbird and a Buell Edited to say that I also had a Suga 6x6, a couple of SAME's and the odd van
