crazyfarmerboy
I am not usually one for the santana. i think it looks like a bad aftervesion of a defender. however i have found one that i think looks good with extra's added. let me know what you think of this. cheers guy's
Happyoldgit
Those lights under the bumper won't last long if it ventures of the hard stuff.
Holyzeus
I don't really see your angle, a defender with the same add-ons would look far better than a Santana
GBMUD
True that it looks better than a stock one but there is a limit to how much polish you can get on a turd. Chris
FridgeFreezer
Not the most tasteful exercise ever. I still like Santanas though, they seem to do Land Rovers better than Land Rover do although the styling is a bit questionable.
Guest WALFY
I like the twin headlights and that's as far as it goes. As for doing Lr better than LR. . Interior is pants, dash is pants, rear end is pants and they still run round on bent steel girders and not modern springs

Exmoor Beast
I have always felt I should like santanas. The theory of simple design and a half decent sized engine appeals, its just hopelessly let down by the design of the thing, everything about its looks is just not quite right. Mo Murphy
I like Santanas, there The dash looks ropey but the rest of it is good, they even get a good lump as standard. Mo

western
I had to as fire vehicles 2 years ago at a big festival, didn't like them one bit, just a cheap copy of a LR with parabolic leaf springs under them, but the Iveco TD engine was willing. everyone who drove them said 'don't want those again' some more photo's of the green one I had use of. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v384/wes...0PS10%20Anibal/
Hybrid_From_Hell
Looks like a bunch of drunk chavs from Dagenham* have done their version of Really F up a LR Looks "Pimp my Ride" Nige * Apologies to any Members from Dagenham ** Except if you did the above chaving to a LR
Retroanaconda
The beauty of the front of any Series/Defender is the simplicity....all those extra lights/curves/grills/struts make it look weird And leaf springs? I still chuckle when I see brand new 2008 model rice-burners with leafs on the rear. They may be good for load-carrying...but it still amuses me
discojmz
number plate wasnt something like 44 COO was it? if so, it lives or used to live, up the road from me. bloke owns a caravan and towing company in S****horpe. Havent seen it in a week or two mind you but it looks identical. OTT lighting and tints. disco tony
But I could have bought a brand new, (ex-demo) one for £15k (110 equivalent), as opposed to £25k for a similar Land Rover a couple of years ago. Mrs said no so that was that!!

GBMUD
We found a Santana abandoned in a layby in Portugal this spring. It seems even the scrap man did not want it. Chris
nicks90
suppose it depends what you want it for. they have a bigger rear door and easier to get stuff in an out, a strong powerful engine, some would say better cabin space (but a bit ugly) and if you are a fleet buyer and need to supply a building firm with 10 vehicles to drag trailers around and do the usual building site work - they`re ideal and much cheaper than a LR 110. plus i believe they're galvanised............ personally i dont like em. But on the basis of cost as a work barge.
JimAttrill
I have heard that they are really badly put together even by Solihull standards. (Must be pretty awful then)
