The first and last time anyone will read the words "sophisticated city" and "Coventry" intentionally typed in the same sentence :D

I go there for work BTW ;)

I knew that I was going to get some stick for that one; I lived for 6 months in coventry, where the tramps take over the citycentre after 6 pm.

I can surely say: You make it there, you make it anywhere.....

i've been using ProEngineer for 2 years, its the absolute nuts... a grown up version of pro desktop.

you could also try solidworks.

both ProE and solidworks allow you to draw in 3D, then produce 2D plans from your 3D data... you can also run simple stress analysis studies using bolt-ons such as cosmos works (solidworks bolt on) and ProE's own built-in stress simulation tools.

"My other toy has T*ts ....and costs less to run"

Sue just looked at me and said

wait until Nige (HFH) reads this thread.... i'm sure he'll have something to say about wasteing your time with a fancy 3D CAD package... when a bit of chalk and the workshop floor will do just as well....

Hi Nige ;)

....coat on and running for the door

I's been given the job of "decorating" the tower crane we have on site here :D

Any clever ideas out there?

Bear in mind that there's not a huge budget :( or I would go for the full on architectural stuff B)

Jules wants an illuminated santa riding on a plane
