freeagent Posted November 16, 2006 Share Posted November 16, 2006 i've been using ProEngineer for 2 years, its the absolute nuts... a grown up version of pro desktop. you could also try solidworks. both ProE and solidworks allow you to draw in 3D, then produce 2D plans from your 3D data... you can also run simple stress analysis studies using bolt-ons such as cosmos works (solidworks bolt on) and ProE's own built-in stress simulation tools.
