Davedef90
He's certainly getting coverage. THis has now appeared on 4 or 5 LR based forums that I frequent. It is a hell of a tool collection

Boothy
Most used tool in my collection two and half pound hickory handled fully adjustable hammer...... I wouldn't like to think I'd got that lot in my garage But what an awesome collection, but you would still end up with your favourite spanner and screwdriver even with all those..... stuck
I have quite a bit of Snap On kit ( and Halfords pro ) but I don't understand why you would do that. Two of everything I understand but Jeez! How many things would I rather spend 26K on?!
jericho
Surely the man has mental health problems - look at the collection of levels in the last photo!
zoltan
WTF can someone want that many sockets for?
zardos
This tool set is no good for working on Land Rovers! I've not spotted the range of hammers needed (from standard to 14lb sledge )
Les Henson
You would never use the vast majority of that collection, so a waste on money in that respect. Still, if you have 26 grand to spend....... Les.
Tanker
Maybe as an investment for a business but a way over the top for a normal human being anyway WD40 is missing
Turbocharger
I said "Hey darling, look at this Ebay listing..... we need to sell the house."<BR>She said "Err. No. I'm awesome, but I'm not that awesome."
V8 Freak
Les has that amount of tools with him every day :-)
matthew74
Apparently if you win the auction he wants paying in one pound coins, so he can spend a year arranging them into chronological order.
BogMonster
Still going up! Last few hours could be interesting. Biggest problem would be finding the one you wanted!
GBMUD
£28000 (currently!) is a lot to spend in one hit on tools! Most people buy and accumulate such sets a few items at a time, one wonders if this set might not be worth more sold in bits a bobs... Old AA vans come with rather nice tool chests in them; sadly empty... Chris
forkrentfitter
i recon the bloke is selling up to fund private treatment fot ocd.that is just plain bonkers,as said earlier,2 of everything yes,but did you see how many adjustables were in the photo? Happyoldgit
I HAVE COLLECTED THIS LOT OVER THE PAST COUPLE OF YEARS AND ONLY EVER USED A FEW SPANNERS
pat_pending
As most of it's unused or in multiples of the same item, I should think the guy's a tool dealer/trader/ex Snap on dealer. You don't buy that much stuff just to have lying around.
Early90
As most of it's unused or in multiples of the same item, I should think the guy's a tool dealer/trader/ex Snap on dealer. You don't buy that much stuff just to have lying around. If he was a dealer he`d knock that out in bits and pieces to max the return, he`s either OCD and wealthy OR lucky and wealthy, lucky enough to buy a workshop where £75k worth of tools are included and wealthy enough to job lot them out.I may be wrong of course
MONKEYCOPPER
bet he cant find a 13mm spanner when he needs it tho lol Paul
