Blimey, I think my mid life crisis has Just kicked in :moglite: and that is a Very nice Radio bodied 101-I've hankered after a 101 for a lot of years, I used to drive them serving in the Army and always thought they were good-, looking like that, I may have to have a look for one at a later date, once I've finished my house etc.

Thanks John, I bought it due to doing 2 day laning trips to wild camp in, it is pretty awesome off road and even better as an all weather wild camper, heres another picture to help you MLC along :-)

Like a V8 80" I think ever Land Rover enthusiast should have a 101 at some stage in their life.

I bought the service manual and some parts for a 101 twenty years ago but haven't yet bought the truck.

Maybe when I retire .......

255/85-16 BFG MT. 2" lift.

I had to trim the wheel arches a little to keep it from rubbing (wasn't done on this picture yet).

I did the same thing on my last Range Rover, with no lift. A jigsaw on the front guards and a hammer on the back guards worked surprisingly well!

255x85x16 BFG mud MK2 and parabolic springs.

No issue with broken halfshafts yet but i use a very light right foot when offroading and use the winch a lot to get over obstacles and through crossaxle situations. I know that if i put the hammer down they are gonna snap like twigs.

The only halfshaft i broke on this truck was with 235's.
