Shackleton
I'd feed him to it. It is actually a mid '80's 4 door RR. Third photo down you can see the exposed hinges and make out the panel lines. Barryboys is not the word.

qwakers
does she often mistake the rifle range for the supermarket carpark?
Nigelw
Not really seeing the point of advertising it for such a price with so much damage? Maybe I'm missing the point I wonder, with such extensive damage, is it actually serviceable? I mean, they pretty much say "sold as seen", hard to see a bent chassis or buckled front axle, could just be the beginning of a rather expensive rebuild, unless you are buying it for the "cool" factor? simonr
I wonder if vehicles like that end up as film props?
Big.Mike
The film props I've seen tend to be fresh and then "dressed" to fit. This one might be a bit to dressed.
GW8IZR
The damage doesn't look accidental to me . It would be interesting to look behind the obvious holes. I bet its not what you'd expect to see.
CwazyWabbit
It does say used as a training vehicle ... Strangely enough I have never shot a vehicle before .... so anybody in the know about this sort of stuff do you think those circles of metal from the centre of the bullet holes in the door would be sticking out like that? western
probably done with the pointy end of a ground anchor pin or big crowbar, no holes on lefthand side.
GW8IZR
I fitted an antenna base into the hole created by a 303 round for which the gamekeeper was very grateful :-)

Strangely enough I have never shot a vehicle before .... so anybody in the know about this sort of stuff do you think those circles of metal from the centre of the bullet holes in the door would be sticking out like that? Blast shrapnel maybe, but you would expect other (more obvious) damage from blast, depending on proximity and size. The door skin would only look like that from ballistic damage if the rounds were fired from inside the vehicle
