western
putting reg into dvla vehicle enquiry says it's a 1993 vehicle, which agrees with the vehicle info in original ebay advert. so it's 23 years old but doesn't state when the rear end chop was done, looks to be sold anyway. missingsid
Thanks for moving this to the correct place. I'm glad it sold, still not sure what is a sufficient chassis mod to require IVA, as for when it was done, there were some really good ones done virtually from new so it could be old enough to be exempt. If you claim it is a previous mod but have no proof but neither do DVLA to say it isn't who wins? Marc
ejparrott
DVLA. Onus is on the owner to proof when it was done.

Lewis
Have you got the right thread? Surely that belongs in the "pass the bucket" eBay thread?
Maverik
I'd probably tend to agree ^^^ i think it's so random doing a repo 101 when you could have made all sorts of interesting body shapes other than a driving brick...
ejparrott
Quite possibly!
Les Henson
"other than a driving brick" But all land Rovers are Les
Anderzander
This looks like it was well done and seems a very honest description - I'm not too sure about the roll cage, but I'm a bit ignorant of the design of a good one. https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/201571927623

GW8IZR
IF YOU ARE A SERIOUS RANGE ROVER PERSON YOU WILL KNOW THAT AN EARLY RANGE ROVER DIESEL MANUAL IS ONE TO HAVE IN YOU COLECITION, it certainly is a nice looking vehicle and I imagine it will fetch a good price.. but I think I'd rather have a 2 door V8 :-)
Tal
I Dont know if its cheap but I think I just found an ex military trailer with the Nato hitch..... its a bit ratty looking and if I was near wherever its being sold from I would actually seriously consider it.
