nickwilliams
I'm not sure if this qualifies for the 'cheap' tag, but I've been asked to draw it to people's attention: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201114566389
jbs
That was advertised on F/b in the outdoor gear trade thing John
Guest
Something different but useful, I brought one of these from Oz badged by two zone for a lot more money great for keeping an eye on the fridge in the back whilst you are driving. Also very useful for keeping an eye on the outside temp min and max, and the cab temp. I also had one in the trailer to keep an eye on the fridge in there which worked well. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/350467950100?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Jason. Tetsu0san
OK, it's not a Land Rover but I have a Land Rover and I used to drive a normal version of one of these, so I think the tenuous link is sufficient to allow it in here? My perfect car...
ballcock
Paint it black and you can rent it as a chav hearse.
Daan
definitely different: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Off-Roader-Mitsubishi-Shogun-Mk1-/171432852309?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item27ea31bb55

mad_pete
Reliability with a body that never rots ?
discomikey
almost worth a punt at 99p! shame I don't have the time. this one is actually pretty much the only one so far on this thread I would actually consider. yes its a mash up, but like you say mad_pete, reliability with a body that never rots, it could be completed to a high standard and to look almost completely like a standard series if enough though put into it. the only downside is the flak you would get for driving a mudblood! qwakers
you wont get it for 99p... i already stuck a £1 bid on. didn't meet the reserve though
De Ranged
The 4d56 is a good little motor, gear box isn't that strong tho, I wouldn't want to run anything over 32" tyres on this box (internals are from the galant car of the same time) the axles are plenty strong enough to run bigger tyres .....bonus with the gen 1 mitzi chassis and running gear is you will be able to run the pto winch a really good little winch these

V8 Freak
I saw that last night and if it hadn't been for Rupert having a full barn of hay at present I'd have bought him some genuine "Barn Find" hay....
ejparrott
I'm not the only one fed up with so many 'barn finds' now appearing on ebay then....!!
CwazyWabbit
Yep, I suspect most genuine barn finds don't make it to ebay .... those on ebay are probably 'found' in a barn having been moved from a field the week before
discomikey
i thought "barns" were an american thing anyway? we only have sheds on our farm!

dirtyninety
i thought "barns" were an american thing anyway? we only have sheds on our farm! Thats because where you farm the yields are so low you never needed a dedicated hay barn! #farmerbanter
Anderzander
Also the definition has been stretched - I've seen things like Mk5 ford escorts for sale under the banner 'barn find' - when clearly they've never seen a barn (or shed for Mikey) in their lifetime. More like 're-abandoned project'

discomikey
Thats because where you farm the yields are so low you never needed a dedicated hay barn! #farmerbanter in our hay SHED.... we still have 2 bays worth of hay from last years crop. and we dont apply fert because we just end up with 6 billion silage bales we dont use too haha #(notthatilikehashtagsonebitinfactithinktheyrestupid)superyield! ejparrott
There's racks of 'barn find' landrover stuff suddenly come on on my ebay frontpage....how ridiculous... anyhoo...
