Eightpot
Great way to increase your chances of a roll-over, also a great way to find yourself upside down crimped shut in the cab by a tangle of bent scaffold while the flames lick round your feet..😄

miketomcat
It's definitely been for sale several times and this is at least the second time I've seen it up in this state. Not my taste at all. Mike
western
Someone bid £6,200 the listing has ended, so wonder who bought the mobile climbing frame.
ThreePointFive
Presumably scrap metal prices are high? I think I commented on it before so don't want to repeat myself, but this vehicle says more about the owner than it does itself.

ThreePointFive
Cat F. Â Edit: I just learnt that 'Cat F' is actually the category for fire damaged vehicles, had no idea. I didn't mean that kind of 'F'.
western
That's scrap, wouldn't touch a fire damaged vehicle, even when dry the plastics can leave nasty traces which can cause skin or worse damage to the human body.
elbekko
£8000 for what is essentially scrap? Holy hell some people have guts.

landroversforever
Only way I can see that level of destruction being rebuilt is it being someone’s pride and joy. I can’t put a value on sentimentality. But as it’s being sold like that… can’t see it going.

missingsid
Interesting, there aren't many of those around so I was wondering if it was my mates one tarted up. His was purple with a muzzy engine and a majorly scarey locker in the rear axle, however his has a rear tailgate as it is a CJ2.

ThreePointFive
That's why it's so sad. Looks like a great rebuild ruined by questionable styling decisions.
landroversforever
Quick bit of paint or wrap on the red bits would sort it out.

ThreePointFive
By the time you've painted that roof and other bits to the same standard as the rest, it would soon add up. Â Also I'm surprised the value these things are fetching, seems like restorations/rebuilds have been viewed far below their actual cost until recently (though still lower).
