supaimpy
WFM 372L chassis 90103366A still registered as a petrol as well, DVSA would love this one, MOT history is interesting too, somehow tested as a diesel and the mileage going backwards! suggests build date late 2008/09 so going to need that IVA, strange thats its a trader and that they'd not question it Edited November 22, 2017 by supaimpy

lo-fi
Who wants to bet the rear prop is a single piece of scaff bar? At least he's honest that it's not road legal and been hacked together for a specific purpose well away from the highway! But still... Wow.

L19MUD
Brilliant! Let's be honest, if we all had a few acres and needed a farm runaround pickup this would be awesome 😁
Troll Hunter
OK, not eBay, but still a vehicle at auction, at Mecum car auctions at Kissimmee, Florida: https://www.mecum.com/lots/FL0118-311785/1991-land-rover-defender-110-tithonus/ I watched the auction on YouTube and it reached US$23,000, but I'm not sure that the reserve was reached since the listing shows "The bid goes on". There's another Defender at auction on Sunday, so I'll try to watch that one. https://www.mecum.com/lots/FL0118-321921/2007-land-rover-defender-110/ How somebody managed to import a 2007 Defender beats me, because the authorities in the USA are far more strict than here, in Canada, and Canada requires private imports of vehicles that do not have the equivalent of type approval to be a minimum of 15 years old. Troll Hunter
Oops! Sorry, mis-info there. The bidding stopped at $23,000, but the reserve had not been reached. As for the second linked LR the auction has now finished and that vehicle was not presented, but I don't know why. Mike
Daan
This guy has been busy. Check out the double transfer case. qoute: its basically a super model wife thats high maintainence but well worth it!! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/land-rover-90-monster-truck/273095350979?hash=item3f95c05ac3:g:5PsAAOSwpXtanGTU This time also posted in the correct thread... FridgeFreezer
Daan - that 90 has been to a few Shires events, at least twice at Bunny Lane to my knowledge and possibly once at Mannington. Chap is nice enough but the truck doesn't seem as capable as some might expect given the appearance of it. Probably most useful on boggy ground if you can control all the horsepowers Could probably build 2 very different and more useful trucks out of that one, for the price you'd have to! Cynic-al
I like it from the point of view that that sort of thing is usually just a couple of foot of box section welded to the spring mounts and some big tyres, that seems to actually have some thought put into it and some decent parts. I don't think I'd be brave enough to try anything more than throwing a bit of mud up though as I think it'd just fall over or slide down slopes and fall over as I can't see the tyres gripping, too much surface area. Could be wrong though, I have been permanently since the day I got married

Lewis
Some of this was partly my fault for hacking so much of it... https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F222896962194 Interestingly it’s lost it’s genuine E registration and become a series 2. It’s also gained 2foot of chassis which I had chopped off

Possible the door tops.....
Lewis
Its a 1987 90 in every way. It was mine once if they are still the same door tops I fitted they are from an ‘83 series
sean f
Oh well that was the only part I could see that even might have been series 2. Guess the new owner has been a bit "imaginative" with the registration then since you sold it.
