dantastic
Bit of a shame, and irony, really. Would be an awesome truck......if you just removed all the bolt on bits!

Nigelw
Normally we all say "what have they done to it?" But in this case seems to be more, "what didn't they do to it".
Daan
Its odd, the 2 last trucks referred to are actually nicely done, decent builds, then completely wasted by putting horrible looking bits on it. They would probably fetch more if you bring them back to stock and sell the bolt on bits seperate. Daan

Daan That indeed is the irony, the owner believes that they must have added to the value by the cost of parts x labour x resulting "Extremeness"!If you look in the competion world, unless the mods result in a proven winning car it is only worth the value of a non std vehicle i.e. not much! Mods like yours Daan are proven and are idea and execution related. Marc
steve200TDi
Ermmmm......He obviously hasn't read the MSA blue book? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-Hilux-Offroad-Monster-Truck-/281345215095?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item41817b4a77 "Full roll cage offering ultimate protection for when the inevitable happens" Maybe it's protection for all the people who want it out of their site! Diesel_90
Found this tonight. http://bit.ly/1loOXr6 It's a shame about the alloy cage as it looks like someone has put some time into it but it won't meet any regs
RedLineMike
It's fine to use as it has the standard roof fitted so technically I does pass for some challenge events, that truck has had the alloy cage for 4/5 years
